      Mauritius

Mauritius is an Indian Ocean gem blessed with palm-fringed beaches, sapphire lagoons and colourful reef systems. It makes a perfect cruise destination for those in the search for sun, sand and sea! As well as the warm shores and blue waters, you can dive into Mauritius’s interesting history and culture. Mauritius is a slice of paradise – where concentric circles of open ocean, a sapphire lagoon and beaches of powdery white sand wrap around this gorgeous island.

Sailings to Mauritius lay anchor in Port Louis, the island’s charming capital and main port on the northwestern coast – known for its French colonial architecture and the 19th-century Champ de Mars horse-racing track. On the south of Port Louis, you’ll find the Black River Gorges National Park – the largest national park in the country. This sprawling park is a great way to learn about the local flora and fauna. This picture-perfect is also home to a one-of-a-kind underwater waterfall – a remarkable optical illusion created by the rush of sediment and silt from the rivers plunging into the ocean. This tropical island is sure to captivate you at every turn, so why not plan a Mauritius cruise for your next holiday?
