Salty Trip Planning and Activity for the 2016 Season

Dear Salty Flyrodder:

Your Club is always working on scheduling fun fishing trips for its members.

Club trips for 2016 are being scheduled to optimize our chances at catching fish. This means you can expect to receive an email for some trips 2 – 3 days prior to the day/night trip instead of the usual 3 – 6 weeks in advance. You can also expect to see a Club trip to fish the ocean surf. If you have never tried fly fishing the ocean surf this would be a great opportunity for you to learn.

If any Club members are interested in hosting a trip please contact me at   Continue reading

Please Note: a website has been created http://www.longislandflyfishingexpo.org/ which contains full details of the event.

Please coordinate with Steve Townsend at stevetown@optonline.net to let him know that you can fit in to the volunteers list to help with set up and coordinate fly tying. Also to work with the kids. Also looking for members to man the Salty both (free admission) and to work the expo. ie: ticket sellers, set up ….
